“Shine is a love song to Earth, a hymn of solace and meditation and a backward glance at all the trouble we’ve created for ourselves,” says MJ Moon.

Its cover art was designed by French artist, Petronille Remaury. The work offers a view of the planet from space, a single candle lighting the darkness. “It’s about the potential of humanity – itself under-fire – to open the darkness with light,” says Moon.

“My music is pop-centric but ethereal; music created from the points-of-view of stars, in a way that allows us all to sympathise with humanity and the earth. There’s hope in my longing, and longing in my heart. It’s a fight against the darkness.”
